Spring is Sprung!
Easter is behind us and the daffodils have finally bloomed. That means, for us at John Smith Cycling, it's officially spring.
So it's time for the first sunburn of the year and for many people the first outing on their bike.
Of course, you will have prepared your bike for its winter rest (or maybe you didn't), but how has it fared? Are the tyres looking a little tired, perhaps? Is that squeak that you hope would disappear if you ignored it still there?
Maybe you plan to do more miles this year and the old bike isn't quite up to it - or you don't feel up to it on your old bike?
Whether you need an inner tube or a steel tube frame, a minor component or a complete bike, buying online is as quick a way to get what you want delivered to your door - often for free.
The Easter sales may be over but Evans Cycles and Wiggle both still have special offers and discounts for online customers. Just remember, when you visit their sites via the links here, that at least 50% of all commissions will go towards the two great charities we're supporting this year. That's Make a Wish Foundation, who help seriously ill children's dreams come true, and Multiple Sclerosis Society who help the victims of MS and their families cope with the effects of the disease.
The links are just over there >>>>>>>>
Those of us who can just jump on a bike and ride it are lucky. It will be great if we can share a bit of our good fortune with a few people who would love to be able to join us - but can't.
